The phone call from Hell comes in
this surreal thriller starring Colin Farrell as a hapless man trapped in a
phone booth, who somehow is forced to play to a terrorist with a sniper rifle,
and somehow the feds think he's the terrorist's accomplice. Contrived and
confusing story makes for faked suspense and confounded twists. The idea that
he's in on it is just laughable. Joel Schumaker, (who killed Batman 3 and 4),
evidently doesn't know what he's doing making action flicks either. Review by Adam Browne
