Review: 'Harry Potter asnd the Deathly Hallows: Part I' is dark and tense teen wizard drama

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows   Part 1   PG 13
The greatest kid's book to movie series comes to an end, almost, in the first part of David Yates' take on 'The Deathly Hallows', the seventh and final book in JK Rowling's series. Chase scenes and threatening evil wizards add to the narrative to make it not seem like three glum teens camping out, and it actually works. Now that they've all really come of age and are actually over 20 it's kind of like a gasp of finally! They successfully adapted the first part of the book and also included some bits cut for time from the last, which should please even the unschooled.
