Review: 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets' is enchanted in the right places

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets   PG
The second year at Hogwarts begins with Harry and Ron escaping his foster family in a magical light blue old Ford, and it's off to school, where a deadly secret has been awakened under the castle. Actually it is better than the first outing, as the premise for the second book also was more structured, and the script a bit tighter. Misses some of the nuances but gets the right magical moves concerning the characters. The idea of having Tom Riddle’s diary be the focus of an evil curse is interesting because diaries keep secrets and girls are fascinated by them, so naturally Genny finds it. The fun CG characters and puppets work a bit better. The flying enchanted car makes the opening so much more splendid.
