Smokey and the
Bandit

Burt Reynolds plays the loveable
rogue, Bandit, a fast driver who with the help Reed, as trucker Snowman, and a
hitchhiker, Sally Field as Frog, evade the law in Sheriff Buford T. Justice,
Gleason, in this action comedy. Inspired from the same sources as the later
series, 'Dukes of Hazzard', like The Runner moonshine run movie, the story is a
boy's thrill ride. Review by Adam Browne
