Review: 'Reservoir Dogs' is scarastic mob caper

Reservoir Dogs   R
Quentin Tarantino's freshman slick gangster outing is actually better than Pulp Fiction. Gritty characters, witty dialog, and sarcastic mean spiritedness make for a dark low budget caper. The story centers upon six hoods dressed in sharp suits who knock over a diamond exchange, (never actually seen). but it goes over very badly due to a rat in their ranks. The twists are strange but satisfying. The really disturbing torture of a luckless cop is truly one of the sickest filmed in the genre.
