Review: 'Godzilla' is terrible American remake of classic Japanese atomic monster series

Godzilla   PG 13
Roland Emmerich should not be allowed to direct this kind of movie, ever again. Godzilla is not a lizard make giant sized. Broderick is not a hapless clone of the guy from Jurassic Park. The pregnancy test was laughable. Godzilla is not a female and it didn't lay eggs. This is just the single worst movie of 1998, maybe of the 90s. The FX can't even save it. The problem is the arrogant nature of whoever dream up this idea and thought it would make a great movie. The original Godzilla is Japanese and a parable for nukes used on them in the second World War, and he is a monster created from the radiation, and a dinosaur thing, not as stupid big chinned iguana the size of a skyscraper that lays egg babies and they run about, than then he could not be stopped with one missile from a jet fighter. In the Japanese stories, the whole air force gets slapped out of the sky!
