Review: 'Desperate Living' is Waters' strangest and funniest horror comedy

            John Waters takes on bad taste again with this twisted tale of a crazy woman, Mink Stole, and her huge maid, Liz Renay, who kill her husband by sitting on him, and are forced to flee, aided by a brief run in with a "sick cop" with an underpants fetish. Then along comes the grossly evil Edith Massey as a vindictive queen, are just some of the twisted citizens of a town where killers go free and strange practices run rampant.
