Smokey and the
Bandit II

When Snowman (Reed) and Frog (Field)
reunite to whip Bandit (Reynolds) into shape to get a shipment of an elephant
to Miami for cast, Buford T. Justice (Gleason) is hot on the trail again. Not
as much fun as the first, especially with the bickering Frog and Bandit
carrying most of the comedy. Justice and his brothers (played by Gleason) set
an epic trap in the desert that makes the movie, as a score of big rigs does
demolition derby with scores of police cars. Has some great moments with the
circus elephant and with Dom DeLuise's crazy Italian gynecologist. Review by Adam Browne
