Review: 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II' grand magical finale of the fight between good and evil at Hogwarts

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows   Part 2   PG 13
The decade long saga comes to a close in this exciting final chapter to the multi billion dollar Potter franchise, beating out Narnia by a long shot and just beating Lord of the Rings. David Yates again helms the action packed sequel, what many of the later movies should have been, two part movies. In this one, Harry, Ron, Hermione and the school of wizardry at Hogwarts must fend off Voldemort in the riveting final showdown. The darker first half behind them, the young adult wizards must journey to the vault and then to the school to face the final challenge, uncover Snape's secret, find the last Horcrux (a part of Voldemort's soul) and defeat the forces of evil. A rousing triumphant story that makes the first act look like a gloomy prelude. Visual effects add to but do not distract from the story, character depth, and a sense of realism and heartache that comes from battle, but a great overall story of modern movie magic.
