Jon Favreau of Iron Man fame directs
Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig in a strange crossover story loosely based on a
comic book series is and more recent graphic novel, Cowboys and Aliens. The
names are changed, the locale is changed, and the premise...is changed. Despite
that it's a fun escapist fantasy with cowboys shooting at the alien from Super
8 and his buddies. They attack a western town in the laste 1800s and only one
man with an odd wristband that shoots lasers stands in their way. (The aliens
only look like the super 8 alien). It's not a great film. It's entertaining
though and worth sitting through. Review by Adam Browne
