Black Hawk Down R
The war in Somalia (Africa) goes
badly when a black hawk chopper is shot down in the middle of a hostile city.
Ridley Scott impresses with strong character and outstanding visuals. The best
war movie of 2001. The story doesn't pull any punches and never lets up, giving
a more gripping epic than Private Ryan's movie. The story is based on a 1990s
incident. Review by Adam Browne
