Clash of the Titans PG
The epic stop motion flick is an adventure story about warring armies. Based upon Greek mythology, the story follows the classic 'hero's quest' and the 'hubris of being man' and looks into the idea of a man god or demigod sent to Earth to fight impossible forces. The characters and story are well executed and the stop motion enhances but does not overwhelm the movie. This kind of stuff inspired thousands of animators and puppeteers. Sure it's a bit worn for the time, and didn't age well, but it's a fun film with heart. Review by Adam Browne
