Review: 'Watership Down' is dark cartoon of sad critters but good

Watership Down    PG
One of the darkest cartoons of the 70s and possibly the most adult American cartoon to deal with serious issues, touching on loss and retribution and even a bit of refugee stuff A colony of rabbits must move because it is being kicked off their homes by human developers. Great cast and good story make for a dark, brooding movie, but don't expect to have it end like Disney. It won't. Consider it a horror cartoon.
