Review: 'Dead Poet's Society' has big ideas but is oddball

Dead Poets Society    PG
Robin Williams stars in a bittersweet dramatic flick with some funny moments, in this story of a upper class school which has a poetry club in danger of being cancelled for "inappropriate behavior", which in actuality is little more than censorship against them. The casting is great and the story is interesting, but at times draws on the odd and mundane to make something out of nothing. The ending is weird. "Captain, my captain!"
