Review: 'Fame' 1980 is where modern musical high schools began

            The movie that started it all. The School for the Performing Arts is made rocking cool in this teen epic about making it big, or trying to, or at least getting people to remember their names! Fame! It's gonna live forever! Spawned a hit TV series and a slew of rip offs that never really worked. Fame is the movie of 1980. It set up a generation on the road to talent. Well maybe infamy.
