Ghostbusters 2 PG
Ivan Reitman returns for this defanged
sequel, where an evil painting threatens to turn New York into a slime pool. So
bad it's not funny. Weaver plays a mommy. Murray plays with his Ghostbuster
friends. Ghost ectoplasm is used to make the statue of Liberty like a robot.
Uhu. A lot of fun was lost in the sequel, where it appears here as a badly scripted
cash grab, and the actor are bored. The evil painting villain was insane and
not interesting, and the slimed building was just odd. It was like a 12year old
came up with the idea of pouring slime all over the place, perhaps a child of
one of the producers. It seemed really badly conceived from the get go. Review by Adam Browne
