A clubhouse gang of girls in Depression era middle America attempts to come to
grips with the arrival of the hobos in their town and their friend moving away
because she cannot afford to live there. A cross between old Shirley Temple and
original Our Gang, or Little Rascals shorts, set in the Depression era. Kit
Kitredge is a smart, funny, heartwarming movie. Stars Abigail Breslin and
