Zombieland R
Ruben Fleisher's slick send up to Romero and Raimi Zombie movies is a shambling thud above the rest, and on a par with some of the classic Romero stuff. Set in a word similar to that in Shawn of the Dead and Diary of the Dead, the comedy horror flick is not afraid to explore new ground while killing zombies. Adventureland's Eisenberg does another imitation of the mousy character from Superbad, (one of them anyway) and Harrelson is downright redneck hilarious as bat or gun wielding Texas zombie killer searching for his one vice, Twinkies. Drifter girl and sister tag along and try to betray them constantly. Breslin may have a career in grade B horror movies. The flick delivers the gory goods and never disappoints. Definite R rated though.
