Zoolander PG 13
Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson take on
this expanded SNL and MAD TV sketch comedy idea, and actually make it work.
Stiller plays loopy male model, Zoolander, who is on a quest to discover the
new "look" he has craved, and he turns into dippy bad guys, high
flying heroes, all this after his first troupe unexpectedly blow themselves up
in a gasoline fight. One of the funniest movies of the decade, not just 2001.
Stiller actually directed the flick, and the writing is great, so that makes it
just fabulous. "Magnum!!!" Note. Interesting the Borat sort of stole this idea in a way.
