'Scarlett' destroys premise of Gone with the Wind like Atlanta in the 1860s

Scarlett    PG  13
You cannot, repeat, cannot, make a sequel to Gone with the Wind! Someone got in in their heads that it would be cool to write a sequel to the book, and then make a movie miniseries event, but this is just awful. Even the generation that grew up with it didn't care for the sequel. Gack. It makes you throw up a little in your mouth just thinking about it. (Yes, the book was also reviewed, but this is a movie site). The point is they can't do it after the civil war. Then all the tension is evaporated like water on southern clay on a hot day. Ugh.

  1. The South burns again. Ha. Wow, this story was like, why? The book is ridiculous and pretentious and the movie, somehow even more so. Total flotsam.
