Review: 'Get him to the Greek' is funny spoof of rock scene

Get Him to the Greek   R
Nicholas Stoller directs this unofficial follow up to 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' which is better than the original because it doesn't use any of the first movie as plot. Jonah Hill is a rock company intern sent to get Russel Brand's rocker character back from London for a reunion at the Greek theater in LA. Not exactly a hard story to follow. Pokes fun at 'Almost Famous' and 'This is Spinal Tap' at least in ideas. Rocker convinces lackey intern to hide drugs in a tight place, and then to go to Vegas, where some very funny stuff happens. The journey to the Greek is the story. It's funny and doesn't take itself seriously.
